Back before R6, I converted my mail database so I could access it through iNotes. Everything worked fine and I was able to get to it from both the web and a browser.
One day (shortly after R6 came out), I upgraded to R6, and upgraded my mail database's design to the iNotesR6 design. I can still access views through iNotes, but when I try to open or create any kind of document, including the preferences, the window opens, then shrinks a bit (or closes and another opens really fast), and displays the following error:
Problem: Application Exception - Could not find design note
Solution: Click here to close this window and return to the main window.
Well, I have to say that this isn't much of a solution! :-)
In the server's data directory, there is an iNotes directory. It has the files Forms5.nsf, Forms5069.IIB, and Forms5120.IIB. In the html directory, there is an iNotes5 directory. It has a help and Sametime directory. (Help does work.)
I have compared all of this to a server that was a fresh install of R6 (no web access, so I've not tested iNotes on it), and found that the only difference is that the fresh R6 server doesn't have the IIB files.
I've looked on the forum for possible causes, but haven't had any luck. Ideas?
